Bonduel 6 Pulaski 5

The Bonduel Broncos bounced back with a great win against the Pulaski Reds on Friday night, May 22. After all of the dust settled, including a tremendous throw from Eric Gruenewald from left field to home to throw out the tying run and to end the game, Bonduel improved their overall record to 2-1 with a 6-5 win.

Helping pitch Bonduel to victory was Eric Gruenewald, six innings 12 K's, 2 BB. He scattered 7 hits with 2 runs both earned. Mark Reinke came in, pitched two innings, and earned the win in relief. Jed Reinke recorded his first save of the year.

Hitting for the Broncos were Eric Gruenewald 2 for 5 with 1 run and J.C. Reinke 2 for 5, 1 run and 1 RBI.
Terry Boettcher and Ben Prodell both added singles. As a team Bonduel earned two runs in the fifth and four runs in the seventh.

With the win Bonduel improves to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in league play!

The Broncos will look to continue the winning ways with two games next week. Friday night vs. DePere at Jack Reinke Field and Sunday away at Cecil.
