On Friday night, the Broncos continued their winning ways by downing the pesky River Bandits, 9-7. New comer Luke Kostreva had a strong debut as he pitched 5 innings with three strike outs, five hits and six runs all earned. Mark Reinke picked up his third win by coming into a tie ball game in the sixth and shutting down the River Bandits with two strike outs, 5 walks, zero hits, and one run. Congratulations Mark for getting your third win!

Leading the Broncos in hitting was Eric Gruenewald who went 4 - 4 with a single, two doubles, one home run. Luke Kostreva went 3 -3, with one double, Matt Scheelk went 2 - 2, Chris Blum 1 - 2, Terry Boetcher 1 - 2, and Mark Reinke 1 - 1.

J.C. Reinke led the team with six put outs while Zach Reinke followed closely behind with four.

The Broncos will look to continue their winning ways when they battle fellow Dairyland League opponent on Sunday with a game at Cecil.
