The Broncos continued their Dairyland winning streak by defeating Cecil, 5 - 2. The win improves the Broncos' league record to 2 wins along with 1 loss.

Eric Gruenewald picked up his first win of the year with a solid, seven innings of work. Eric struck out 14 Mudhens while giving up 4 walks, seven hits, and two runs both earned. Joe Leitzke picked up his first save of the year by recording the final six outs. He gave up only one hit while walking two and allowing no runs.

The Broncos' Jason Wesenberg made his presence known by sending a shot over the wall in the fifth inning. This shot brought three runs home for the Broncos. He ended up 1 - 4. Other Broncos helping out the cause in the hitting category was J.C. Reinke and Zach Reinke both going 2 - 5. Eric Gruenewald, Joe Leitzke, and Jake Reinke recorded one hit each.

Greg Henn lead the way with 16 put outs followed by Eric Gruenewald who had 4.

The Broncos head to Navarino on Friday for an exhibition game on Friday, June 5 and return to Dairyland League play by visiting the Hofa Park Panthers on Sunday, June 7.
