In a dominating performance, pitcher Luke Kostreva (3-0) gave the Freedom Mets no answers in their quest to beat the Broncos. Luke pitched a complete game allowing no runs while facing 24 batters. He scattered five hits while giving only one free pass. He finished the game with ten strikeouts.

Craig Hartlaben led the Broncos with two hits in three at bats. Eric Gruenewald, J.C. Reinke, Zach Reinke, and Chris Blum all added a hit. Eric had the lone extra base hit for the game smacking a double in the fifth.

All three runs for Bonduel came in the second inning.

The win brings the Broncos to the opportunity for a Pulaski Tournament championship; there quest from the beginning.
